Health & Wellness Policies



GENERAL CANCELLATION POLICY
We ask for 24 hours notice if you wish to cancel or reschedule your session. No shows and cancellations less than 24 hours before a session will be charged in full. (Your health and safety are very important to us! In cases of emergency, inclement weather, sudden illness, etc. please contact us as soon as possible. You will not be charged for the session, and we will work with you to reschedule.)

TARDINESS
** For your first session, we ask that you arrive 15 minutes early in order to fill out paperwork and have a thorough intake with your practitioner. **

If you are late to your appointment, your session may be shortened by the amount of time you are late. This is up to the practitioner, and you will still be responsible for the full session cost. If we are running late, we will try our best to still give you the full amount of time booked and if for some reason that is not possible, we will discount your session.
ILLNESS
If you have any signs or symptoms of illness- fever, cough, sore throat, nausea, etc., please contact us as soon as possible to reschedule your appointment. It is not healthy for your body to receive massage while you are fighting an infection, and it could put my other clients at risk of illness.

You will NOT be charged if you cancel due to illness, even if it falls within our 24-hour cancellation policy window. Should you come to your session with any signs or symptoms of illness, we will send you home and charge you for the session.


DOCTOR'S APPROVAL
Conditions for which we will require a doctor’s “go-ahead” before working with you include: recent stroke, heart attack, major surgery, completing a course of chemotherapy, or if diagnosed with malignant cancer. If you have any other serious medical conditions, please contact us BEFORE your appointment so that we may assess what course of action is suitable for your condition(s).
